NEET UG: Data we may collect
- Optional name, email address, mobile number, and counselling details that users choose to provide, plus login and authentication records needed to secure an account.
- Payment/order identifiers, Razorpay order IDs, Razorpay payment IDs, payment status, access-pass status, and refund/support records.
- Usage, device, browser, security, analytics, and diagnostic data.
- Counselling-related inputs entered by users, such as rank, score, category, quota, state, preferences, selected colleges or courses, and search/filter activity.
- Support communications and information users choose to send for access, payment, privacy, refund, or grievance requests.

NEET UG: Account contacts and sign-in methods
One verified phone OTP, Google, or email OTP method is sufficient to use an account. A second method and profile contact details are optional unless a specific feature clearly explains why it needs them.
A phone number or email entered by a user or received as Razorpay payer contact remains unverified account information. It is not used for sign-in, account recovery, account linking, or authorization unless the user separately completes the relevant OTP or provider verification.
Closing Rank does not merge accounts merely because contact text matches. Sensitive sign-in-method changes require recent verification, and possible identity collisions are held for review without revealing another account's information.
Because mobile numbers may be reassigned, a phone-only account returning after a long period may enter a restricted restoration process. Old profile, payment, counselling, and access-pass data remains hidden until ownership is safely resolved; confirmed new owners receive a new account and never inherit the old user's data or paid access.

NEET UG: Payments and Razorpay
Payments for the season access pass are processed through Razorpay or another payment processor shown at checkout.
Closing Rank does not store card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, net banking passwords, or payment instrument credentials. Payment processors may process those details under their own terms and privacy practices.

Closing Rank may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, browser storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, secure sessions, remember preferences, support payments, measure performance, and understand basic product usage.
Closing Rank uses a first-party affiliate attribution cookie to measure creator-link clicks, account creation, and verified purchase conversion. This measurement helps Closing Rank understand which creator links lead to new accounts and completed purchases; it is not a third-party advertising tracker.
The affiliate cookie contains an opaque browser token. It does not contain personal contact details, account or partner identifiers, or payment identifiers, and it does not contain or store payment credentials. Closing Rank does not store card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, net banking passwords, or other payment instrument credentials in this cookie.
Affiliate attribution is browser-based rather than a claim of identifying a unique person. Clearing the cookie, using another device or browser, or using private browsing may prevent attribution or make the measurement incomplete, including when sign-up happens on another device.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for basic site analytics and privacy-limited PostHog telemetry for cookieless page-level usage and error diagnosis. PostHog session replay, click and form autocapture, surveys, person profiles, and stored client IP addresses are disabled. Closing Rank does not send PostHog account IDs, contact details, counselling form values, chat prompts, or URL query parameters, and does not use advertising trackers.
Users can usually block, delete, or limit cookies through browser settings. Some necessary cookies or similar technologies may be required for login, access control, payment flow support, fraud prevention, or security.

Closing Rank may share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, support, or improve the service.
- Razorpay and payment processors for payment verification, refunds, and dispute handling.

NEET UG: Data retention
Account, payment, access, support, security, and compliance records may be retained as long as needed for service delivery, tax, legal, fraud prevention, audit, accounting, and dispute-handling purposes.
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or support through support@closingrank.com. Some records may need to be retained where required by law, accounting rules, security needs, or dispute handling.

NEET UG: Security
Closing Rank uses reasonable safeguards to protect personal data, access records, and support communications. No internet service can guarantee 100% security.
Users should not send OTPs, passwords, card details, UPI PINs, bank passwords, CVV, or unrelated sensitive information by email or phone.

NEET PG: Your NEET PG pass
NEET PG is a separate ₹3,999 one-time season pass. Its end date is shown before payment. It does not include NEET UG access and has no automatic renewal.
PG includes 250 AI questions per season, with a maximum of 60 in a rolling 24 hours. Historical ranks and AI guidance do not guarantee admission. Only published datasets and documents are available.

NEET PG: PG profiles and AI conversations
We store PG counselling preferences and chat messages, replies and associated usage records to provide guidance, conversation history, access control and allowance tracking. Optional PG details can include AIR or state rank, category, quota, domicile, service status and PwD eligibility.
When you use the AI counsellor, your question, relevant earlier messages, relevant saved PG preferences and retrieved counselling context are sent through OpenRouter to the configured AI model provider, such as Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI. Providers may process information outside India under their own privacy terms.
Our AI requests disable optional response storage and disallow providers that collect data for training. These request settings do not mean that Closing Rank chat history, usage records or all provider security, billing or legally required records are never stored. Do not include patient records, medical reports, OTPs, payment credentials or unrelated personal information in chat.

NEET PG: PG chat retention and privacy requests
Chat history is not a permanent archive. A conversation normally receives a retention deadline based on the season end date when it is created; if no season end is configured, the fallback is 180 days from creation. Expired conversations become unavailable and are eligible for scheduled deletion. Extending a pass does not automatically extend an existing conversation's retention deadline.
You may request access, correction or deletion through support@closingrank.com, subject to ownership verification and applicable retention requirements. Account deletion is also available in Settings. Payment, security, accounting and dispute records may have different retention periods from chat history.
